Biography:
Trunks is a prominent character in the *Dragon Ball* anime and manga series. He is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, hailing from an alternate future timeline ravaged by Androids 17 and 18.
He first appears in the anime in Dragon Ball Z episode 133 "The Nightmare Comes True". In this timeline, most of the Z Fighters have fallen, leaving Trunks and Gohan to fight a losing battle. After Gohan's death, Trunks becomes determined to defeat the Androids.
To prevent this apocalyptic future, Trunks travels to the past to warn Goku and the others about the Android threat and to seek a way to change his timeline's fate.
